Our Work

GE Healthcare Tool Installation East Greenbush, NY

Description

Hodess was the design-build cleanroom contractor for Turner Construction’s Bay Chase cleanroom project. GE Healthcare contracted Hodess directly for tool installation in a 40,000 sf ISO 5 cleanroom, utilizing modular 2″ and ½” aluminum wall panel systems. Additionally, Hodess constructed 16,000 sf of ISO Class 7 space with 2″ aluminum cleanroom grid and vinyl flooring. Responsible for designing and installing all process utilities for the tool installation, the project achieved its first LEED Gold certification. The design saved approximately $1M annually in energy costs by maintaining room specifications with lower airflows.
